The CityBoy Movement, Ogun State Chapter, wishes to inform the public that a group calling itself “CityBoy Likeminds” has no connection with our organisation. The group is neither affiliated with nor recognised by the CityBoy Movement at the national, zonal, state, local government, ward or polling unit level.
For the avoidance of doubt, there is only one recognised CityBoy Movement. We have a well-established organisational structure that runs from the National Executive through the zonal, state, local government and ward levels, down to the polling units. Any group operating outside this structure does not represent our leadership, our ideals or our programmes, and should not be mistaken for us.
We call on the promoters of CityBoy Likeminds to immediately stop any actions that could create confusion, spread misinformation or distract our members and supporters across Ogun State. The activities of unauthorised groups work against the unity and shared vision of our movement.
Our focus remains clear
The CityBoy Movement, Ogun State Chapter, remains committed to grassroots mobilisation, political enlightenment and strategic engagement across all 20 local government areas, 236 wards and the polling units of Ogun State, in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
We are fully focused on strengthening our structures and intensifying our mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections, to ensure the re-election of President Tinubu and the success of other APC candidates in Ogun State.
A word to our members and the public
We urge all members, coordinators, stakeholders and the general public to disregard any unauthorised group claiming to represent the CityBoy Movement outside our officially recognised structure. Please continue to engage only with the legitimate leadership of the movement.
